Donald Judd Chinati Foundation Marfa, TX
Chamberlain Sculptures are housed here.
The Judd Sculpture.
There are tours now and a hefty admission fee. I've been here so many times I didn't do it in the 105' heat of today.
But walked around the buildings, outside.

San Antonio Museum of Art
Lots of good stuff here. I picked out these heads.
This Greek head of Athena has a helmet on that if black would be frightening, there must be something more to that.
A nice surprise. A big Latin American Collection.
Rothko Chapel and Menil Museum
This Serra seems prophetic.
Menil Museum was closed Monday and Tuesday.
A clandestine photo. I've visited here since 1979. The purple stain along with Ulysees in Menil have been talisman type paintings to me.
Houston Museum of Fine Arts
Novros wrote a nice piece in Brooklyn Rail June 2011 on Pilgrimage sites.
Houston Museum of Fine Arts make one really feel dumb to see these, treating it like a theme park. I was left cold sad as these are among the best paintings in the world.

George Ohr Museum
designed by Frank Gehry. Biloxi, Mississippi.
Has O'keefe in Museum title which is very misleading and wrong I think. O'Keefe is a local business man.
Architecture coupled with Ohr is amazing.

Another Good Kline.

80's collection of Stanley Lewis.
Every Museum in US has one of these?
Stuart Davis.
